How important is it to be 100% on a raw food diet with children
A common question for many parents who are interested in the raw food diet is, how important it is to really eat 100% raw food together with the children. Especially, when you already heard about the benefits of this kind of diet, and are familiar with the healing power of it, people often wonder about this question.
You have heard, or maybe experienced yourself, what you can achieve by eating in a natural way, but often it is not so easy-especially when you have kids- to be so strict with your diet. There is the social pressure from school, friends and your family, and also the thing, that our little loved ones can be picky sometimes, and won't eat the veggies or the green.
Or maybe you don't even want to be 100% on a raw food diet for several other reasons.
Bear in mind that the answer we will give you here, comes from a family who lives on a raw food diet, and has celebrated big success doing so.
And our answer is simply: It is not important to be 100% strict. Being that strict cam be good, if you do it with your heart, your children, and your surrounding like the idea, and you are guided to live the life that way.
We believe, that doing this diet in the right way, is the best thing you can do for your family.
But the important point here is: A lot of points have to come into place, or you have to make them come into place in order to do it 100%.
If you live in a relationship, and your partner, does not support you, and dislike the diet, because he does not believe in it, you really need to communicate very clearly, and find out what his fears are. Try to educate him with books and resources.
You need to find some kind of agreement, to really have peace within your family. Otherwise, you should really consider doing a high-raw diet instead of 100%.
It is also very important, that your children are open to this kind of change. This is even more difficult if you have older kids. Maybe you just start doing it for yourself, gain confidence and increase your health, so they just see the benefits of this diet radiating from you.
Whatever you do, doing a slow change is a very good way of dealing with things.
Sometimes we produce more stress and bad energy, by pushing us to a limit, by trying to live up to our high standards, than we gain health and good energy by being there.
Better you enjoy yourself and your family by only eating a high raw diet, but you are happy and centered.
You need to find a good balance for yourself and your family. A good balance of eating healthy, living food, and a comfortable, feeling of happiness and joy for your diet. You will not find health, if you do something leaded from your head only, but not feeling good about in your heart. Just following a mind-based concept will not help you. You need to also listen to your feeling and your heart.
If you find this balance in your families diet, you have managed what many people dream about!
We have met so many people living on a 100% raw food diet, that were thin and rather pale than thriving, and we have met even more people and families, that looked so radiant and healthy NOT eating 100% raw. It is all about what you think and feel about your diet that matters.
You need to feel good, and comfortable with what you eat, and so should your children.
It is easy to generate this feeling by eating this healthy, high vibrating food, but this has not the same effect for everyone.
In our case, we feel so good and happy with eating what we eat - feeling this feeling with every apple we celebrate, every green smoothie we drink; but this is not for everyone. And it does not have to be for everyone.
