Since it was clear, that we will become a family, we discussed a lot about our children's education.

We both did not like school for several reasons, and had the feeling, that we wanted to find a better way, for our children to get the knowledge they would need in life.

To become smart, healthy, loving and vibrant human beings, that live the life of their dreams, school is not necessary in our opinion.

We experience with our children, that they want to learn, and they do learn from early morning to late at night, seven days a week.

We want our children to learn where they live: At home. No rushy mornings like: "Hurry up, we are late!", no stress with teachers they do not like.

No forcing to do homework. They do the work, they love and want to do.

We also do not believe in the "normal" way of teaching. That means a teacher tells you what you have when to learn, and judges your progress.

We believe that we should act the other way round.

Stay in the background and let them make their experiences, and be there if they ask for us.

We support the ideas of Rebecca Wild and the Summerhill school in the United States. That means, that we do not tell them what they have to learn and at what time they should.

We have all possible trust in our children, that they know what they want and need to learn, at what point of time.  We are doing our best  to support them in their interests, and things they are good at.

That means not, that we just leave them alone and do nothing, no way!

For this way of learning it is important, that we as parents are really aware of the need of our kids, and where they are.

We have to provide them with material and possibilities to experience their learning.

By this way, they explore their strengths and interests, in order to find out what they really want in life. Research about grown-up homeschooling children showed, that most of them ended up in jobs, they really enjoyed.

This is something I would like for my children. That they will do what they love, and earn their money with that!
